Lens Type

Single Vision

A lens made for the standard wearer for one viewing distance, when multiple prescriptions are not needed. Single vision lenses come in a variety of lens materials.

Lined Bifocal & Trifocal Lenses

A bifocal lens is a lens that allows the wearer to see through two areas, one for distance and one for reading. The bifocal is designed like a sideways “D” and is separated from the distance by a line.
A trifocal lens is designed like a bifocal with two lines separating the distance, intermediate (armʼs length), and reading areas.

Progressive Lenses

This multifocal lens allows the wearer to see through several different areas in one lens. It provides a smooth transition between distance, intermediate(armʼs length), and near vision. These lenses come in a variety of designs, which suit a variety of visual needs

Fashion Frames

We carry a full line of fashion frames for men, women and children.

This lens is made of an impact resistant material. It provides 100% UVA and UVB protection. It is thinner and lighter than plastic and the optics are clearer than polycarbonate. This product comes with a two-year scratch resistant warranty.

These lenses come in different thicknesses. They perform like Phoenix lenses, but can be made thinner depending on the patient’s prescription. This material is primarily used for people with high prescriptions.

Anti-Reflective Coating

When your lenses reflect light, it comes between you and the people around you. Anti-reflective lenses reduce glare under fluorescent lighting, at a computer, and around lights at night. They also give others a clear view of your eyes in any light.

Polarized Lenses

These lenses block horizontal light that results from glare off of the hoods of cars and reflections of light off of water. They come in gray, G-15 (green/gray) and brown and can be darkened with cosmetic tint.

Light Reactive Lenses

These lenses darken when exposed to UV light. The molecules in the lens constantly recalibrate so the optimal amount of light reaches your eye whether you’re in bright sunlight, under cloud cover or indoors.
