Anti-Reflective Coating

When your lenses reflect light, it comes between you and the people around you. Anti-reflective lenses reduce glare under fluorescent lighting, at a computer, and around lights at night. They also give others a clear view of your eyes in any light.

Tinted Lenses

Tinted lenses come in a wide variety of colors and range from light to dark. This treatment can even be added to a polarized lens for the darkest effect.

Lens Types

Single Vision

A lens made for the standard wearer for one viewing distance, when multiple prescriptions are not needed. Single vision lenses come in a variety of lens materials.

Lined Bifocal & Trifocal Lenses

A bifocal lens is a lens that allows the wearer to see through two areas, one for distance and one for reading. The bifocal is designed like a sideways “D” and is separated from the distance by a line.
A trifocal lens is designed like a bifocal with two lines separating the distance, intermediate (armʼs length), and reading areas.

Recent technology has developed a different lens called the no-line or progressive lens.

Progressive Lenses

This newer multifocal lens allows the wearer to see through several different areas in one lens. It provides a smooth transition between distance, intermediate(armʼs length), and near vision. These lenses are also available for occupational use.
